Present our 'Danmu visualization' work in SIGGRAPH Asia'16 @ Macao

I obtained my doctoral degree from the Human-Computer Interaction Initiative, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I was under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojuan Ma. My primary research interest lies in Human-Engaged Computing. I focus on

  • Bridging the gulfs among human-computer communications with metaphors
  • Assisting exploratory and explanatory data analysis with visualization and storytelling techniques
  • Leveraging sensor-captured signals to maintain users' physical and mental health automatically
  • Fostering user engagement and wellbeing in a digital experience with positive computing
